Yes, the TMD Chain Lock is ART-2 certified. This is the minimum requirement for Dutch and most international theft insurances. You can use the lock with all major insurers, such as ANWB (Unigarant), ENRA, King Polis, Laka, Alteos, Inshared, Be-Insured, Orion, ZLM, and Qover*.

Key Number:
Enter your lock’s serial number in the field where the insurer asks for a key number. In some cases, insurers are already "smart-lock-ready" but still require a key number for their system. If this happens, please use your serial number.

Proof in Case of Theft:
Instead of handing over two physical keys, you provide the digital log file (history) from the TMD app in the event of theft. This serves as official proof that your bike was locked. Through the app, you can easily view and export your history (or take a screenshot). This functions as digital evidence that the bike was correctly locked at the time of the theft. Our team is always available to support you with this.

Yes, the TMD Chain Lock is ART-2 certified, meeting the security standard required by major bicycle leasing providers in both the Netherlands and Germany.

You can include the TMD Chain Lock directly in your bike lease package with providers such as:

• Key / Serial Number:
  When submitting your lease application or registration, enter your lock’s serial number in the field asking for a key number. Because some leasing portals still rely on traditional key codes, your serial number acts as the unique identifier.
  
• Proof in Case of Theft:
  Because the TMD Chain Lock is keyless, you do not need to hand over physical keys if a theft occurs. Instead, export or take a screenshot of your digital history (log file) directly from the TMD app. This digital log serves as official proof that your bike was locked at the time of theft.
