Foundation of TMD Security
Founded in 2004, with headquarters in The Netherlands, TMD Security now protects more than 400,000 ATMs and SSTs around the world from card fraud and explosive attacks.
Our customers include major banks and ATM deployers in EMEA, APAC and the Americas.
2021
Launch Access Management
In 2021, we combined hardware & software to create one keyless access management process with intelligent locks for all access points.
2023
Real research. Real change.
Before creating our locks, we listened. We surveyed over 500 e-bike owners, spoke with retailers across the Benelux, and engaged with key industry groups.
These conversations uncovered the real gaps in bike security today and shaped the smarter, more secure solutions of TMD Locks.

Beginning of TMD Locks
Too often, e-bikes are left vulnerable because riders either don’t use a secondary lock or if they do, they’re relying on outdated locks designed for regular bikes a decade ago. Traditional solutions are either too cumbersome or simply not secure enough for the value and technology of today’s e-bikes.
That’s why we decided to set a new standard with TMD Locks.
